Hello! We are Rocky Mountain Karelian Bear Dogs.
We started Rocky Mountain Karelian Bear Dogs in 2020 after we had owned KBDs for a while, we decided we wanted to share the amazing Karelian Bear Dog. We live on a ranch in Central Montana, where we have cattle, sheep, and chickens - and of course our three Karelians! We want more people to be able to have and love this breed. Our goal is simple: we want to help others find a dog that suits them best.
We promise to provide you with a well-socialized, well-cared for, and much-loved KBD puppy. We will do all that is in our power to insure the safety and well-being of our dogs and puppies. We love our puppies, so we will carefully screen our potential customers to make sure all our puppies are going to amazing homes. We are so excited to meet you, please contact us with any questions! Thank you!
- Rocky Mountain Karelian Bear Dogs -
Juneau is the newest mother of the pack! She is from Yara's 2022 litter. She is super friendly and loves to play. She is very well-behaved and even at a young age she already had the "come", "stay", "fetch", and "kennel up" commands down. She was an amazing mother to 10 puppies on her first litter! Juneau has the natural Karelian Bear Dog instincts of hunting, she is also a good farm dog and will not bother our farm animals. We love her and are excited that our pack is growing.
Kenai is one of our Sires. We adopted him from Snowy Mountain Bear Dogs in TN. He was born on November 6th, 2023. He has adjusted well to the pack. He is the father of Juneau's first litter, his puppies grew up to be great KBDs. He is adventurous and playful. He loves kids but still has the hunting instinct. He gets along well with Ukko, and the other animals on our farm. We are excited to continue his line and spread the hunting instinct and love of Kenai.
Ukko is one of our Sires. He is a playful, fun-loving dog; even at his age, he is still a puppy at heart. He was born on May 31st, 2017. He loves people, especially little kids, he is so sweet with them! We adopted him from Jackknife Mountain Karelians. He adjusted to the change extremely well. He loves to run and play but also likes to go for hunts. He is a great father and we are so proud he is ours. He compliments our pack so well!
Our puppies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your forever friend or ask any questions.
