Meet Our Karelians!
Meet - Isla
Isla (Izzy) is one of our Dams. She is adventurous, and she loves to hunt - she also seems to like being in her own space, she is what I imagine an introverted dog to be like! We also adopted her from Jackknife Mountain Karelians, she took a little longer to warm up to us, but she was very loyal to her original owners. She seems to love her new surroundings after getting used to them. She was born on July 29th, 2016. She is also a great momma! She usually has about 5 puppies per litter.
We are so thankful we own her and are proud to call her ours.
Meet - Juneau
Juneau is the newest addition to the pack! She is from Yara's 2022 litter. She is super friendly and loves to play. She is very well-behaved and even at 12 months she already has the "come", "stay", "fetch", and "kennel up" commands down. She will be a momma in about one and a half years, she will be bred by a male we will be adding to our pack soon. Juneau has the natural Karelian Bear Dog instincts of hunting, she is also a good farm dog and will not bother our farm animals. We love her and are excited that our pack is growing.
Meet - Ukko
Ukko is our Sire, he is a playful, fun-loving dog, even at his age, he is still a puppy at heart. He is slightly younger than Isla, born on May 31st, 2017. He loves people - especially little kids, he is so sweet with them! We also adopted him from Jackknife Mountain Karelians. He adjusted to the change extremely well. He loves to run and play but also likes to go for hunts. He is a great father and we are so proud he is ours. He compliments our pack so well!
